Born and raised in New York City, Joshua “Chino” Melendez is the youngest of South-American parents. Early on, Chino had shown creative promise expressing himself through an array mediums. Whether that was joining his elementary school’s after school art program, being casted in his high school’s “The Wiz” theatre production or being published in his alma maters (Brooklyn College) literary magazine. The amalgamation of these different mediums not only encompasses his journey as an artist but cultivating a multi-disciplinary creative.
